Patchy progress

So what's new? Well, I have finally begun work on my very first patch-work quilt (not counting that patchwork cushion I made when I was 10). Man it takes ages!

Even with all the required equipment such as rotary cutters, quilter's rule and cutting mat it still took me an entire day to cut out the required amounts of squares from four of the fabric types. Five more to go..

I recently received instruction as to how best handle the lace edging, so watch this space for a finished Prairie very soon - I hope!
